Ed Heere also makes significant contributions to both the public and private sector addressing business, community and special interest groups on the state of, and the direction of, the computer industry.
Previous talks have included presentations to the Danbury Area Computer Society, Association of Computing Machinery, Connecticut Division of the Association of Enrolled Agents, Connecticut MENSA, Danbury Rotary Club, Ridgefield Rotary Club and the Ridgefield Men's Club and the Danbury Chamber of Commerce
Recently Ed was honored as the keynote speaker at a Conference on Entrepreneurship at his college alma mater, Albright College in Reading Pennsylvania.
For more than 5 years Mr. Heere has been a featured presenter at the annual Business Entrepreneur Series sponsored by The Greater Danbury Chamber of Commerce.
Ed has also participated as a panelist in several advisory committee meetings for both the Ancell School of Business and the Western Connecticut State University.
Mr. Heere has served as a respected expert in the area of Computer Y2K issues and has moderated two recent Y2K Conferences, the first at Ancell School of business of the Western Connecticut State University, and the second sponsored by the Greater Danbury Chamber of Commerce and held at Danbury Hospital.
Both Conferences were organized and co-sponsored by the Danbury Area Computer society. He has also spoken to many community and business organizations on the Y2K issue.
Ed has also been a frequent guest speaker on the subject of technology on many TV and radio shows including The Fairfield Exchange on CT Cablevision, WLAD - Pete Summers show, WRKI I-95, WQXI, and the Robert Reby Show on WLAD.
